Obverse: A left-facing bust of King Argishti I, the founder of Erebuni (modern-day Yerevan). He is depicted wearing an elaborate Urartian helmet adorned with curved embellishments and a central rosette. His detailed beard, segmented into circular curls, reflects the artistic style of Urartian royal iconography. His attire is richly decorated with geometric and floral patterns, emphasizing his regal status. To the right of his portrait, the cuneiform inscription spells "Argishti I" in the Urartian script.

Reverse: A dynamic scene of a Urartian warrior riding a chariot, drawn by an ornately adorned horse. The warrior, draped in a flowing cape, holds the reins with an outstretched arm, signifying control and leadership. The background features stylized mountains and the fortress of Erebuni, represented by a crenelated structure with a central tower. Above the scene, an inscription in Urartian cuneiform marks the significance of the event. At the bottom, the Latinized Armenian inscription reads "Erebuni."
