Reference Description
Obverse: A left-facing portrait of Komitas Vardapet (1869–1935), the renowned Armenian priest, musicologist, composer, and ethnographer. His deeply contemplative expression symbolizes his dedication to preserving Armenian folk music. The inscription "Կոմիտաս 100" (Komitas 100) appears along the left and lower edge, marking the centennial of his birth.
