Reference Description

Obverse: A left-facing portrait of Alexander Spendiaryan, the renowned Armenian composer, encircled by an inscription in Armenian and Russian: "Ա. ՍՊԵՆԴԻԱՐՅԱՆ 1871-1971" and "А. СПЕНДИАРОВ 1871-1971." The outer rim is adorned with a laurel wreath, symbolizing honor and artistic achievement.

Reverse: A central depiction of a lyre with an Armenian eternity sign within, representing Spendiaryan’s deep connection to Armenian musical heritage. Surrounding the lyre is the inscription in Armenian and Russian: "ՀԱՅ ՄԵՑ ԿՈՄՊՈԶԻՏՈՐԻ ՑՆՆԴՅԱՆ 100 ԱՄՅԱԿԸ" and "100 ЛЕТ СО ДНЯ РОЖДЕНИЯ ВЕЛИКОГО КОМПОЗИТОРА," commemorating the centenary of the composer's birth. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative border of intertwined branches.
