Reference Description

Obverse: A stylized grapevine motif with intertwined branches and grape clusters, symbolizing Armenia's deep viticultural traditions. The top bears the inscription "1783 - ՍՈՒՐԲ ԽԱՉ - 1983" ("1783 - Surb Khach - 1983"), marking the bicentennial of the church’s founding. Below, the Russian inscription reads "200 ЛЕТ СО ДНЯ ОСНОВАНИЯ ПАМЯТНИКА" ("200 Years Since the Foundation of the Monument").

Reverse: A depiction of the Museum of Russian-Armenian Friendship in Rostov-on-Don, part of the Surb Khach memorial complex. The neoclassical-style building features a central dome and a columned entrance. The background consists of wavy lines, likely symbolizing the Don River. The surrounding inscription in Russian reads "МЕМОРИАЛЬНЫЙ КОМПЛЕКС СУРБХАЧ" ("Memorial Complex Surb Khach") and "МУЗЕЙ РУССКО-АРМЯНСКОЙ ДРУЖБЫ" ("Museum of Russian-Armenian Friendship").
