The complex of the Gandzasar Monastery comprises St. Hovhannes Mkrtich church and a court surrounded by walls, dwelling cells nearby, a refectory and a school. The church and the court of the Gandzasar Monastery are by right ranked among the treasuries of the Armenian Christian architecture.
