This “Galanthus Artjuschenkoae” silver collector coin has been issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia as part of the international coin program “Beauty of Flowers”.
Galanthus Artjuschenkoae is a charming plant, small in stature ( 25-35 cm) with white or sometimes creamy flowers and light-green leaves, emerging through the snow and blooming in March. It is met only in two floristic regions of Armenia (in the South and North), in the oak- hombeam or beech forests, and in the low and middle mountain zones (900-1200 m). The coin issued with colored inks. Designed by Eduard Kurghinyan. Minted in the Mayer Mint, Germany.
