The “Karate” silver coin has been issued by the Central Bank of Armenia under the international numismatic program “Art of Fighting”.
Karate (karate-do, “path of empty hand”) is a Japanese martial art. It has come to Japan from island Okinawa at the end of the 19th century and then expanded into all over the world. Karate has sports, applied and traditional directions in which numerous styles are practiced.
The coin issued with colored inks.
