Reference Description

Obverse: Bust of Emperor Paul I facing right, wearing an ornate military uniform with a sash across his chest. The inscription along the edge reads: "Б. М. ПАВЕЛЪ I ИМПЕРАТОРЪ И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОСС.," which translates to "By the Grace of God, Paul I, Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia."

Reverse: A text inscription recognizing the efforts of an Armenian named Danilov for his dedication and diligence in the cultivation of silk-producing trees and the advancement of silk production. The inscription states: "АРМЯНИНУ ДАНИЛОВУ ЗА РАЧЕНIЕ И УСЕРДIЕ ВЪ РАЗВЕДЕНIЙ ШЕЛКОВЫХЪ ДЕРЕВЬЕВЪ И ВЪ ПРИВЕДЕНIЙ ВЛУТЧЬЕ СОВЕРШЕНСТВО ШЕЛКУ. 1799.," which translates to "To the Armenian Danilov for diligence and zeal in the cultivation of silk trees and the improvement of silk production, 1799."
