Obverse: An ornate Armenian cross with intricate detailing, flanked by the inscription "ДА ХРАНИТЪ ГОСПОДЬ АРМЯНЪ" in Russian and "ՏԷՐ ԿԵՑՈ ՋՀԱՅՍ" in Armenian, translating to "May the Lord Protect the Armenians."
Reverse: The inscription "РУССКIЕ АРМЯНАМЪ ВЪ ГОДИНУ ИСПЫТАНIѦ 1915" in Russian and "ՌՈԻՍՔ ԱՌ ՀԱՅՍ Ի ԺԱՄՈԻ ՓՈՐՋԱՆԱՑՍ" in Armenian, translating to "Russians to Armenians in the Time of Trial, 1915." Above, the Russian double-headed eagle holds a scepter and orb, symbolizing the support of the Russian Empire.
