Reference Description
Obverse: Depicts the main building of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, with the monument of Karl Marx prominently positioned in the foreground. The years "1933 - 1983" are inscribed above, commemorating the institution's 50th anniversary. The surrounding Armenian and Russian inscriptions read "ԵՐԵՎԱՆԻ ՊՈԼԻՏԵԽՆԻԿԱԿԱՆ ԻՆՍՏԻՏՈՒՏ" and "ЕРЕВАНСКИЙ ПОЛИТЕХНИЧЕСКИЙ ИНСТИТУТ" (Yerevan Polytechnic Institute).
