Artashesyan Kingdom
The coin is dedicated to the Artashesian Kingdom (189 BC - 6 AD). The founder of the Kingdom is Artashes A. “Artashesian Kingdom” collector coin is included in “Armenian Statehood” series of coins. . The series includes also the coins “National Assembly Building”, “Arshakuni Kingdom”, “Bagratuni Kingdom” and “Kingdom of Cilicia”.
Obverse: the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia.
Reverse: a fragment from the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia - a part of the coat of arms of the Artashesian Kingdom, which depicts two eagles with their heads turned off and an octal star; there are seven starlets beneath the image.
