This silver commemorative coin with nominal value Dram 5000, issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia is dedicated to the 15 th anniversary of introducing national currency in Armenia.
Armenian national currency (Dram) was put into circulation on 22 November, 1993 based on Resolution N 15 of 19 November, 1993 of the Armenian State Commission on Regulation of Money Circulation.
The logotype of the Central Bank of Armenia and the graphical symbol of Dram are depicted on the reverse of the coin.
Designed by Haroutiun Samuelian.
Minted in the Mint of Austria.
