Surrounding the portrait are musical notes that pay homage to his illustrious career as a chansonnier, along with the inscription of his name, birth and death years (1924-2018), and a large “100,” marking the centenary of his birth.
Reverse: Coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia in the center. Surrounding the coat of arms is the inscription "ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ," translating to "Republic of Armenia."
