The inscription reads, "ՈՎ ՀԱՅ ԺՈՂՈՎՈՒՐԴ ՔՈ ՄԻԱԿ ՓՐԿՈՒԹԻՒՆԸ ՔՈ ՀԱԻԱՔԱԿԱՆ ՈՒԺԻ ՄԵՁ Է" ("Oh Armenian People, Your Only Salvation Lies in Your National Strength").
