As a nocturnal animal, Wide-Eared Hedgehog feeds on invertebrates and small animals. The enemies to Wide-Eared Hedgehog are wild mammals and daytime and nocturnal birds of prey.
The number of this type of hedgehogs has dramatically reduced due to growing area of arable land.
