The “General Sherman Tree” is the biggest and heaviest sequoia in the world. It grows in the National Park "Sequoia" in California (USA). The age of the tree is nearly 2300-2700 years. It is 83,8 m in height and 31,3 m in circumference at the trunk base. The total weight of the tree is 1910 t.
The fruit of the tree is an oval cone with turbinal scales.
Obverse: the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia, the fruit of the tree in color.
Reverse: the image of the “General Sherman Tree” and the name of the tree outlined to the bottom: “GENERAL SHERMAN TREE”.
Minted in the Mint of Poland.
