Reference Description

The Treaty on Eurasian Economic Union took effect on January 1, 2015. The member-states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.
The regulatory authorities of the EAEU are the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council presented by presidents of the EAEU member-states, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Court of the EAEU.
The EAEU has been established to promote national economies, boost competitiveness between these economies and provide stable conditions for achieving high living standards. The EAEU provides for free movement of goods, services, capital and labor, pursues implementation of a coordinated policy in sectors of economy.
Having joined the EAEU at the beginning of 2015, the Republic of Armenia embarked on expanding opportunities for regional economic integration.
