This coin commemorates the 10th anniversary of Lviv's inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998. One of the key landmarks is the Armenian Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary, founded in 1363 by the Armenian community. Built under the guidance of architect Doring, the cathedral combines Armenian architectural traditions with Gothic and Renaissance influences.
