Notes

This coin commemorates the 10th anniversary of Lviv's inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998. One of the key landmarks is the Armenian Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary, founded in 1363 by the Armenian community. Built under the guidance of architect Doring, the cathedral combines Armenian architectural traditions with Gothic and Renaissance influences. It features unique frescoes, including works by Polish-Armenian artist Jan Henryk Rosen, and an Armenian cemetery with historic khachkars (cross-stones), symbolizing the deep cultural heritage of Armenians in Lviv.
