Obv. Head of Tigranes II right, lightly bearded, wearing tiara with five long peaks, decorated with a star and tied with a diadem. Bead and reel border.
Rev. King standing half left, head left, in Armenian tiara, wearing long tunic open in front to waist, drapery behind right shoulder, holding a long staff behind, and uncertain object (barsom sticks?) in his right hand. On right ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ, on left ΤΙΓΡΑΝΟV / ΦΙΛΟΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ ΚΑΙ - ΦΙΛΕΛΛΗ[ΝΟΣ] .
