Reference Description

Obverse: A stylized depiction of a woman seated on a pedestal, extending her arm to pick a bunch of grapes from a vine. The scene is framed by geometric representations of mount Ararat.

Reverse: The emblem of the Armenian SSR, featuring Mount Ararat, the rising sun, and a star, surrounded by wheat and grapevines, symbolizing the republic’s agricultural prosperity under Soviet rule. The inscription reads "ԽՈՐՀՐԴԱՅԻՆ ՍՈՑԻԱԼԻՍՏԱԿԱՆ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ" (Soviet Socialist Republic), with "50" at the bottom, marking the 50th anniversary of Soviet Armenia.
