Obverse: Depiction of the Central Committee building of the Communist Party of the Armenian SSR, an architectural landmark symbolizing the political center of Soviet Armenia. The facade features a row of classical columns and an arched entrance, with decorative ironwork at the bottom.

Reverse: The emblem of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, featuring Mount Ararat with the rising sun, a hammer and sickle inside a star, and a wreath of wheat and grapes. The surrounding inscription reads "Հայկական Սոցիալիստական Խորհրդային Հանրապետություն" (Armenian Socialist Soviet Republic). At the bottom, the number "50" commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the republic’s establishment in 1920.
