Reference Description
Obverse: A detailed depiction of Yerevan State University's main building, showcasing its grand neoclassical facade with tall columns and wide staircases. The inscription at the bottom reads "ՀԱՄԱԼՍԱՐԱՆ" (University).
Reverse: The emblem of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, featuring Mount Ararat with the rising sun, a hammer and sickle inside a star, and a wreath of wheat and grapes. The surrounding inscription reads "Հայկական Սոցիալիստական Խորհրդային Հանրապետություն" (Armenian Socialist Soviet Republic). At the bottom, the number "50" commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the republic’s establishment in 1920.
