Reference Description
Obverse: A depiction of the Stepan Shahumyan Monument, showing the revolutionary leader standing with crossed arms, gazing into the distance. The base of the statue is incorporated into the architectural setting, reinforcing its symbolic presence.
Reverse: The emblem of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, featuring Mount Ararat with the rising sun, a hammer and sickle inside a star, and a wreath of wheat and grapes. The surrounding inscription reads "Հայկական Սոցիալիստական Խորհրդային Հանրապետություն" (Armenian Socialist Soviet Republic). At the bottom, the number "50" commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the republic’s establishment in 1920.
