Reference Description
Obverse: Depiction of Hotel Armenia, known today as Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan, a landmark building located in Republic Square, Yerevan. The structure is shown with its grand arched colonnade and curved facade, characteristic of Soviet Armenian architecture. The inscription on the upper section reads "ԱՅՍՏԵՂ․ ԱՐՄԵՆԻԱ" (Hotel Armenia).
Reverse: The state emblem of the Armenian SSR, featuring Mount Ararat with rays of the rising sun, a hammer and sickle within a star, and a wreath of wheat and grapes. The inscription along the border reads "ԽՈՐՀՐԴԱՅԻՆ ՍՈՑԻԱԼԻՍՏԱԿԱՆ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ" (Soviet Socialist Republic), and below, "50", marking the anniversary.
