Reference Description

Obverse: A Russian warrior, clad in a helmet, chainmail, and cuirass, sits on a cubic stone. In his left hand, he holds a billowing banner bearing the image of a double-headed eagle, while his right hand rests on a sheathed sword. To the left, a crowned double-headed eagle perches atop fallen Ottoman banners. To the right, Turkish weapons, banners, and an oval shield inscribed "АДРIАНОПОЛЬ" lie scattered. The background features mountainous terrain on the left and fortress walls and buildings of the city on the right. Inscription: "ЗАНЯТIЕ АДРIАНОПОЛЯ" (Capture of Adrianople). Below: "СЪ МОДЕЛИ ГРАФА Ф. ТОЛСТАГО | РѢЗАЛЪ А. ЛЯЛИНЪ 1838 | 1829."

Reverse: The Russian double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, crowned with three imperial crowns. On its chest, a shield depicting Saint George slaying the dragon, encircled by the Order of St. Andrew’s chain. The eagle holds a scepter and an orb, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Below, the engraver’s signature: "Р. А. КЛЕПИКОВЪ 1837."
