Reference Description
Obverse: A Russian warrior, clad in armor, stands triumphantly on the ruins of a fortress. He holds a shield in his left hand and a banner displaying the Russian imperial emblem in his right. At his feet lie the bodies of fallen defenders, discarded banners, weapons, and a shield featuring the Persian lion and sun emblem. Inscription: "ВЗЯТIЕ КРЕПОСТИ ЕРИВАНИ" (Capture of the Erivan Fortress). Below: "СЪ МОДЕЛИ ГРАФА ѲЕОДОРА ТОЛСТАГО | РѢЗАЛЪ А. ЛЯЛИНЪ 1839 | 1829."
Reverse: The Russian double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, crowned with three imperial crowns. On its chest, a shield depicting Saint George slaying the dragon, encircled by the Order of St. Andrew’s chain. The eagle holds a scepter and an orb, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Below, the engraver’s signature: "Р. А. КЛЕПИКОВЪ 1837."
