Reverse: A stylized representation of Mount Ararat with the rising sun and an open book, symbolizing enlightenment and education. The surrounding inscription reads "ՊԱՏՄՈՒԹՅԱՆ ՖԱԿՈՒԼՏԵՏ ՇՐՋԱՆԱՎԱՐՏ" (Faculty of History Graduate), commemorating the graduation of students from the History Faculty. The years 1920-1970 mark the 50th anniversary of the Armenian SSR.
