Reference Description

Obverse: A Russian warrior, shielding himself with a crest featuring the imperial eagle, prepares to strike a fallen Persian horseman. The Persian warrior, lying beside his collapsed horse, holds a yataghan, with a shield bearing the lion and sun emblem nearby. Inscription: "СРАЖЕНИЕ ПОДЪ ЕЛИСАВЕТПОЛЕМЪ." Below: "СЪ МОДЕЛИ ГРАФА ѲЕОДОР. ТОЛСТАГО. РѢЗАЛЪ А. ЛЯЛИНЪ. 1839 | 1826."

Reverse: The Russian double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, crowned with three imperial crowns. On its chest, a shield depicting Saint George slaying the dragon, encircled by the Order of St. Andrew’s chain. The eagle holds a scepter and an orb, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Below, the engraver’s signature: "Р. А. КЛЕПИКОВЪ 1837."
